These terms apply to quotations, bookings and use of this website for Syed Events. Your written quotation and booking confirmation set out the specific services, prices and dates, and take priority if they differ from this page.
Quotations and bookings
- Quotations are itemised and based on the date, venue, guest count and services you describe.
- A booking is confirmed when you approve the quotation in writing and pay the agreed booking amount.
- Prices and availability can change until a booking is confirmed.
Payments
The booking amount and the payment schedule for the balance are stated in your quotation. Please pay by the agreed dates, so we can reserve crews, equipment and vendors for your event.
Changes and cancellations
Changes to guest counts, timings or services should be requested as early as possible and will be confirmed in writing, with any price difference. Cancellation and refund terms are stated in your quotation and depend on how close the event is and what has already been arranged.
Weather, power and venue conditions
Outdoor events can be affected by weather, power cuts, traffic or venue restrictions. We plan backups where agreed, and we tell you promptly if conditions require changes to the plan.
Equipment, damage and liability
Our crews handle our own equipment. Please make sure guests and other vendors treat hired equipment with care. You may be asked to cover loss or damage to equipment caused by guests or by conditions under your control. Our responsibility is limited to the services we agreed to provide.
Photography and video
We will ask before using photographs or video from your event in our own marketing.
